Selecting Target Asset

Select the underlying asset to be traded using the top left drop down.

This will modify the Spot Cash, Futures, and Perpetual listings to show corresponding instruments related to that asset.

Initiating an Order

Clicking on the Bid or Ask will open an order ticket.

To sell, Left click on the Bid side (Left of @).

To buy, Left click on the Ask side (Right of @).

Spot

Pane Overview

View and trade Spot across all chains.

All markets are currently USDC based and require having tokens in the Strands Wallet to buy or sell the underlying asset.

The top collapsed row shows the "BBO" of the underlying asset

The Spot pane can be expanded to show all markets.

Account Style

Spot Crypto accounts are Strands Wallets that you deposit funds into that you wish to trade with on the platform

Setup

The Gear icon on the right will take you to the Setup section for Spot Crypto.

You will need to initialize a Strands Wallet and deposit tokens, at which point you can trade Spot Crypto.

Futures

View and trade futures across all execution venues. Currently only CME is active.

To trade CME and see live prices, a user must setup a brokerage account. Please reach out to Strands support for more information

Pane Overview

The size of the future can be toggled between "Regular" sized and Micro sized by using the drop down

The Pane can be expanded to show all months with active Future markets for the selected underlying

Depth Viewer

The pane on the right side of the 1Click pane shows the depth view of the month highlighted for greater market visibility.

Account Style

Futures are done through traditional brokerage accounts. Order tickets for futures will show all applicable brokerage accounts you have to choose which one you want to execute the trade into.

Setup

To trade CME a user must setup a brokerage account. Please reach out to Strands support for more information.

Perpetuals

View and trade perpetuals across all execution venues.

The "Perpetuals" pane can be expanded to show all markets

Account Style

Each Perpetual exchange has its own account related to that specific exchange.

Setup

The Gear icon on the right will take you to the Setup section for Perpetuals

You will need to create a connection with the appropriate execution venues, at which point you can trade Perpetuals.

Order Ticket

The order ticket is used for submitting buy and sell orders while interacting with markets in the 1Click page.

Order tickets for each asset class has similar but unique functionality.

Quantity

For all asset classes, you can change the order quantity by inputting the desired amount into the "Quantity" section.

Account

You can select the account you wish to execute the trade within. Each underlying type will have different account types as described earlier.

Time in Force

This determines how your order will be executed on the exchange. The options are described in more detail here

Price

You can type your desired price into the price input on the order pane.

For time in forces such as IoC or FoK, it is often desirable to send these orders at the current market price. The current market price is displayed below. You can click the "sync" button to set your target price to the suggested current market price. If the market moves before you execute your trade, you can press sync again if the new market price is acceptable.
